Change of ownershipnnWhat can we say about the Desideri Café? After a week on Little Corn Island, where unfortunately the Tranquilo Café was closed, we tried the Desideri Café, and the experience was, let's say, surprising. The first few days, the welcome was nonexistent; the waitress didn't even say hello and handed out menus without a word. Fortunately, Britney took over after an incident and managed to improve our impression with her warm attitude.nnHowever, the menu is disappointing: basic ingredients (50% of the menu) like tomatoes or bananas are often missing, even though the shop next door sells them! The cook seems more preoccupied with her phone than cooking and doesn't hesitate to express her annoyance when we place an order. One morning, we arrived at 8 for breakfast in an empty restaurant, only to be told it was closed... at 10:00 a.m.!nnAnother morning, only the Nutella-banana crepe was available, but after 30 minutes, surprise: there was no more Nutella or banana. In short, if you're stopping on this island, move on and opt for Tranquilo Café or El Bosqué for quality service and cuisine, at unbeatable prices.

Great vibe to enjoy the big variety of food options they have. I went with the shrimp pizza and enjoyed it a lot. We were visited by a couple cats which made the experience even better!

Desideri:nDesideri is a cafeteria-restaurant ideal for tourists and foreigners. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is cozy, perfect to enjoy a good meal or a coffee. We didn't have high expectations but it was a mistake. We ate a tamarind fish for two for $22 for its size accompanied by a very delicious coconut rice and a delicious salad for one.nnThe dessert was the culmination since the homemade brownie was very very good, with a very powerful chocolate. The only one but perhaps the ice cream that accompanies it. With little flavor compared to that powerful brownie flavor.nWe accompanied the meal with a calala juice that we ordered without sugar and was very good.nnWe would repeat for sure.
