I don't usually give bad reviews, but my experience today at Giordanelli wasn't great. We went to celebrate Mother's Day and had several issues.nnWe made a reservation in advance, and the table we were assigned was right in the middle of the traffic, so we couldn't enjoy much privacy. The dishes took a long time to come out because we could tell that only one person was in charge of the entire kitchen.nnThe Neapolitan sauce on the ravioli was very sweet, and the pizza was full of liquid, making it impossible to grasp. The chocolate cake tasted like it came from a refrigerator, not freshly made.nnWe ordered the pizza as a side for two dishes, but by the time it arrived, everyone had finished eating.nnOverall, the dishes are very standard considering the prices, so I prefer to opt for other Italian food options in the city.

The place is nice as it has a terrace, however the terrace is somewhat useless, last weekend I went with my family for lunch and since Bogotá is a rainy city, it rained on us and we got wet, it was an unpleasant experience, the drip fell on our plates and it was very unpleasant. The service was excellent and the food was very delicious but these details spoil the whole experience, we had to go in, the very friendly waitress moved our plates and we finished eating lunch inside.

I made a reservation for lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday, when we arrived the restaurant was alone and they told us that we could sit wherever we wanted, I told them that we had a reservation for a birthday and they had nothing prepared nor did they have the reservation in mind, as was agreed in the reservation where they told me that they were preparing a simple decoration, surprised I told the waitress and she asked me if I want them to put up the decoration, what a disappointment, we sat at a table and they didn't even turn on the lights, I had to tell her I asked the waitress to please turn on the lights since the place was very dark, they immediately played music at a very high volume and I had to ask them to lower the volume a little, I do not recommend it at all, they do not take into account the reservation or the reason for the celebration and the worst thing is that they do not care, a very unpleasant experience.
