The food is delicious, but the lamb portion is ridiculously small—three small pieces that barely serve one person for R$135 is absurd, even compared to the city's best restaurants.nDisappointing.

This Friday (June 20, 2025), we were at Cantina da Massa with a large group of friends and colleagues, having previously made a reservation for 24 people at 7:30 PM. Everything was organized in advance, precisely to ensure comfort for both the group and the establishment. However, unfortunately, the service and attitude of the restaurant staff left much to be desired.nnAs is natural at large events, some members of the group arrived promptly at 7:30 PM, while others arrived between 8 and 8:30 PM. Nothing out of the ordinary, considering the traffic, commitments, and unforeseen events that are part of the routine of any large group.nnEven though several members were initially present and the rest were announced as being on their way, we were surprised by the extremely pressured attitude of the restaurant staff. They constantly insisted that we occupy all the tables immediately, under threat of canceling the reservation and giving the seats to other customers. This attitude caused discomfort and embarrassment, as it is unreasonable to demand that a group of 24 people be present exactly at the agreed time, as if it were a one-on-one appointment.nnWhat is most shocking is the lack of understanding and flexibility. After all, a reservation for 24 people implies a considerable amount of consumption and good revenue for the restaurant. At the very least, respect, empathy, and professionalism are expected, not a harsh and impatient approach.nnThis type of behavior is inconceivable for any establishment that aims to offer a good experience to its customers. Pressuring and threatening a group that had already organized itself in advance, had already partially arrived, and was clearly committed to eating demonstrates a lack of preparation for group service and a lack of appreciation for customers.nnWe hope the restaurant rethinks its approach and invests in staff training, as this experience compromised the atmosphere of a gathering that had everything to be pleasant.
