I told them to come in because the food was delicious. Then what happened happened. They didn't like your response, they told me. I'm glad you had a good meal. They were kind people. It was the least you could offer them after the rude comment you made. Your response confirms that human quality is something you can improve, especially when you work in customer service. As for looking at my phone, what does that have to do with it? I used to send my emails before going into their cafe for breakfast. I ended up going to another one with good service.
