So far, personally, the best Italian restaurant in Lima. From the entrance, the atmosphere is super rustic, cozy, and faithful to the classic decor of a trattoria. The menu offers high-quality options and both original and customized recipes (for all tastes). The service is excellent; the waiter answers any questions you may have about the menu. The food arrives quickly and is spectacular. 100% recommended, and I will tell my friends about this place.
It should be called Pizzeria Bongiorno. Their pastas are terrible, and I'm being quite objective: we ordered a carbonara with guanciale (supposedly), and the pecorino flavor was gone, and there wasn't even any pepper. To top it all off, the egg was hard-boiled into lumps (here it should be a cream). We also ordered a 4-cheese pasta dish, which was unforgettable. On top of the fact that the carbonara costs 48 soles, unbelievable, they serve you pasta with Don Vitorio, just like their signature rigatoni. Do yourselves a favor and never order pasta, seriously. The pisco sour was 5/10, the lemonade was delicious, and the garlic bread was too garlicky—too much, but it seemed like the bread was sourdough. ONLY order pizzas, because that's apparently their strong suit. Pathetic.nnUpdate: The owner is classist and doesn't accept criticism (you can see her response below). Don't go.
Below is terrible. First, because we were a large group, they couldn't serve us because they couldn't arrange a large table for us. We asked if we could all go separately, and they said no, that it was by reservation only. The lack of professionalism is evident, just from the communication, and the manners are beyond praise; customer service is lacking. ♀️
The pizzas are very good and the sangria is a very good companion.
Really everything is exquisite, good treatment, good service, I loved Young Bruno's attention, with a smile at all times.
Excellent treatment, good service and delicious foodnGood atmosphere, appropriate to enjoy at all times, I loved it
I don't give it a 5 because I only went to try one thing, from Miraflores to Jesús María during rush hour...I went to try the cannoli. 3 years ago I returned from Italy to Lima and since then I had not eaten any cannolo, there was nowhere... other than an extra extra expensive place... I tried two cannoli in other places before arriving here, the previous two were very very bad, but this one here, VERY GOOD! I am very particular about food, it has to be delicious to say that it is, this cannolo was the most similar to the Italian one, made fresh, freshly fried, with cow's ricotta cream, not pecora (because it doesn't exist in Peru), it also had the sweet aroma! That's a goal. Very rich. It cost me 12 soles each. In any case, I would return, you can tell that there is a real Italian behind it... I do recommend the cannoli, I haven't tried the pasta but I think they must be good, made in a real Italian way.
