The pasta is delicious but I got a bad salad.

Disappointing Experience at Lollos – Style Over Substance in RecoletannI really wanted to like Lollos — the location in Recoleta is great, the place looks trendy and inviting, and the vibe is promising. But unfortunately, the food fell completely flat.nnFrom the first bite, it was clear that presentation took priority over flavor. The dishes looked good on the plate, but everything we tried was bland, overcooked, or just oddly put together. What was supposed to be a flavorful pasta arrived swimming in a watery, tasteless sauce. A salad that sounded fresh and vibrant on the menu came limp and overdressed, with barely any seasoning. The ingredients didn’t feel fresh, and the overall execution seemed careless.nnWe also tried a milanesa, which should be a safe bet — but even that was dry, under-seasoned, and served with fries that were cold and soggy. At these prices, it’s just not acceptable.nnTo be fair, the service was fine — polite and attentive — but good service can’t make up for food that just doesn’t deliver. It felt like a place that’s more interested in being Instagram-friendly than actually serving satisfying meals.nnMaybe it was an off night, but with so many excellent options in Buenos Aires, Lollos isn’t a place I’d return to or recommend if you care about food.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, but food is truly awful. The carbonara is inedible and is basically scrambled eggs and oil. The ricotta and vegetable ravioli has no ricotta and smells terrible, tastes even worse than it smells. I wish I could say the food was good because the staff was friendly, but I need to be truthful and save you from eating there.

I ate some overcooked churros... I didn't like them at all nThe food didn't taste good.

Quiet, nice corner and area. Good deals.
